"You will one day stand trial in God's courtroom. Are you prepared?" During the presentation of God's Courtroom, Bruce Kugler, an attorney, takes scripture and powerfully describes the charge, the penalty, potential legal defenses, role of witnesses, burdens of proof and lastly, God's offer of a pardon, the marvelous truth of God's infinite love and amazing grace.

Bruce and his family live near Springfield, Illinois and attend the Living Faith Baptist Church in Sherman, Illinois. There Bruce developed an advanced discipleship training course. He has also written and taught on the subject of prayer. He has written three short booklets including: "Prayer - A simple guide for effective prayer" (2002); "Sinventory - A sin prayer guide for the believer" (1995); "Spiritual Warfare: Protection of the believer" (2005). Bruce was privileged to be mentored by the late John Somers, pastor and former Director of Evangelism for the Illinois Baptist State Association. Bruce is an ordained Southern Baptist Minister and a member of the Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists. He has received numerous endorsements from various Christian Evangelical leaders. Bruce has an impressive legal career to draw upon in his research and presentation of God's Courtroom:

  • Attended Valparaiso School of Law in Valparaiso, Indiana, earning a Juris Doctorate and graduating in 1988 with Senior Honors.
  •  

  • Received Honors in Scholarship and served on the executive board for law review as an articles editor.
  •  

  • Admitted to practice law before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of Illinois and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

     

  • Admitted to practice law in the States of Illinois and Texas. He has represented clients on issues involving personal injury, worker's compensation, criminal matters, real estate, family matters, mechanics liens, contracts, environmental enforcement, immigration, and bankruptcy.

     

  • Member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Chicago Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Seventh Circuit Bar Association, and Illinois State Bar Association.
  •  

  • Served as judicial extern for the late Honorable James Parsons, a federal judge with the Northern District of Illinois.
  •  

  • Former associate with the law firm of Fearer, Nye, Ahlberg & Chadwick in Oregon, Illinois.
  •  

  • Former Trial Attorney with the United States Department of Justice.1
